Rachele is an award-winning producer, writer, director and production designer. Her work includes short films, series and features. A recipient of the 2018 Enterprise People Placement for Screen Australia, Rachele produced several projects with Deadhouse Films, including feature film SKINFORD, the series THE PET KILLER and Shudder Original series DEADHOUSE DARK. The anthology had its World Premiere at CANNESERIES (2021). She is currently executive producing and acting as director’s mentor for Deadhouse’s latest project CRASHOUT, staring Catherine Laga’aia.
Rachele was a segment director on the highly anticipated feature anthology sequel, SCARE PACKAGE II, marking her second Shudder Original project. Notable credits include BEAST NO MORE (Monsterfest Audience Award winner, distributed by Level 33 Entertainment), WATER HORSE, and sci-fi short film SLICE OF LIFE, selected for Sitges and winner of Best Sci-Fi at the Oscar-accredited LA Shorts Festival.
She is currently in preparation to direct CRADLE, written by Duncan Samarasinghe (Wolf Creek: Legacy) with producers Cameron Burns and Aaron B. Koontz of Paper Street Pictures (Revival, Shelby Oaks, Scare Package), and the prequel series WOLF CREEK ORIGIN for Easy Tiger with producers Greg McLean (War Machine, Wolf Creek) and Bianca Martino (The Darkness, Wolf Creek: Legacy).
Rachele recently received Screen Australia funding for her feature project THE SKY BELOW, which she will direct and co-write with Duncan Samarasinghe, alongside Executive Producers Greg McLean and Bianca Martino. She just completed THE AUDITION, a ScreenNSW Shorts to Feature fast track initiative, which she wrote and directed as a proof of concept for her feature METHOD TO MADNESS. The project to be directed, co-written and produce by Rachele, alongside co-producer Sandy Stevens, and Executive Producers Greg McLean and Kristian Moliere (The Babadook, Wolf Creek: Legacy).
