Rachele is an award-winning producer, writer and director. Her work includes short films, series and features - some of which have been seen by millions of people around the world. A recipient of the 2018 Enterprise People Placement for Screen Australia, Rachele produced several projects with Deadhouse Films, including feature film SKINFORD, the series THE PET KILLER and the Shudder Original series DEADHOUSE DARK. The anthology had its World Premiere at CANNESERIES (2021), with the episode ‘Mystery Box’, written and directed by Rachele, selected to screen at the Grand Palais.
Rachele was a segment director on the highly anticipated feature anthology sequel, SCARE PACKAGE II, marking her second Shudder Original project (released December 2022). Rachele’s work also includes the feature film BEAST NO MORE, which won the Audience Award for Best Film at Monsterfest and was distributed worldwide by Level 33 Entertainment. In addition, she produced the recently released WATER HORSE, and the Blade Runner-inspired short film SLICE OF LIFE, which was selected for Sitges and won Best Sci-Fi at the Oscar-accredited LA Shorts Festival.
Rachele is currently in preparation to direct CRADLE, written by Duncan Samarasinghe (Wolf Creek: Legacy) with producers Cameron Burns (Shelby Oaks, Scare Package) and Aaron B. Koontz (Revival, Scare Package) of Paper Street Pictures. Additionally, Rachele just completed THE AUDITION, a ScreenNSW Shorts to Feature fast track initiative, which she wrote and directed as a proof of concept for her feature film METHOD TO MADNESS. The project will be directed, co-written and produce by Rachele, alongside co-producer Sandy Stevens, and Executive Producers Greg McLean and Kristian Moliere.
